Here’s the before and after on my latest Lynda.com title, “VFX Techniques: Building Replacement with After Effects.” It includes 3D camera tracking, sky replacement, motion-tracked mattes, and color grading.
Right on the heels of the last one, my third Lynda.com tutorial, VFX Techniques: Tracking Objects Onto A Face, is up. This one takes you through the application of digital make-up and planar tracking elements onto the face of a moving actress.
My 2nd Lynda.com title, VFX Techniques: Crowd Replication with After Effects, is now available. It takes you through the steps necessary to change an empty warehouse to one teeming with a crowd. Motion tracking, greenscreen keying, and color grading are all covered.

I enjoy sharing my 3D/VFX knowledge, particularly when I’m able to work 1-on-1 with an interested student/hobbyist/professional. I’m currently available for training in L.A. and Las Vegas, and other points of the compass via the InterWeb.
